+RECORDS is a record label founded by double bassist and composer Miguel Ângelo, with the purpose of supporting his own artistic production by maintaining full control over the stylistic, artistic, and commercial processes. This initiative aims to ensure complete autonomy, without aesthetic, organizational, or commercial concessions, while always preserving the rights associated with music publishing.

The music market and industry have undergone profound transformations. With these changes, the structures that support creators have also evolved — notably the role of record labels, which have historically been essential in supporting, funding, and promoting musical works. Although there are currently more record labels in the Portuguese market than in the recent past, many operate as personal ventures or as editorial extensions of associations, which do not always adequately safeguard the creators’ interests — whether in terms of promotion or commercial viability.

In this context, +RECORDS positions itself as a personal label, much like many others, but open to collaboration with projects and releases that align with its editorial vision. + Records is committed to ensuring full transparency and the protection of authors' rights and entitlements.
